Sorry, my point was that the Yoshi leaflet had got it the wrong way around. As written, it claims that there is more to be gained by having the baffles in. Obviously that doesn't make sense.
To get back to the original point, unless you are regularly wringing the bike's neck in urban areas, I have found the sound/volume to be reasonable and I won't be putting the baffles in again. The tune was done without baffles and its currently running very nicely.
