can you tell us what was better about the 55???

Yeah, better lateral grip without hanging off the bike so far. Much more supple in the arse. Sort of got the best of both worlds at the moment. I set the back end up a bit hard so as the bike would handle well 2 up. With the 50 series the bike then kicked a bit when solo with my 75 kg frame. The 55 series at 34 psi seems to add this extra dimension to the suspension. Much more compliant with no reduction in lateral grip. No real obvious loss of punch from the increase in diametre. I did the same mod to my k61000 and it improved the bike a little but it really suits the gen2. Added bonus was tipping the bike forward slightly made it more flickable in the tight stuff. I really am not into the looks of bikes compared to the performance but when looking from the side the 55 fills the back end better. No more 50 series for me. Paul.
