those that have the alarm, if your ever connecting and diconnecting to the + of the battery, chances are your alarm was momentarily disconnected where you would hear the inbuilt battery backup go off and thereafter your alarm wont work inspite of what button you press on the remote. The alarm has to be reset by 1st checking the fuse on the main harness near the battery that you didnt fry it, if ok remove main plug from alarm ( + and - leads must be connected to batt.) not accessory then plug it back in, you will hear 2 chirps and all is reset and ok. Just a tip from personal experience. <i></i>
