Hi,
Sorry for the delay!
They are injection molded, and the fit is really good on them. We haven't had any complaints.

Yes, they are a true fit. They're injection mold. I'd imagine the other member bought from someone else who used compression mold to manufacture their after market fairings. Compression mold can be very tricky to install sometimes.

The quality of the plastic we use is the highest grade on the market, it's a Japanese ABS plastic. It's very durable. We do officially recommend professional installation because if you're inexperienced in installing fairings, you could damage them and that's not something we would blame on our product. However if you've installed fairings before and know your way around your bike, then by all means installing injection mold fairings should be something you could do.

It is a "you get what you pay for" kind of deal in terms of after market fairings. We're actually priced higher than a lot of our competitors, especially some of the retailers on Ebay. We charge more because our cost to manufacture is higher than theirs. We use the highest grade plastic on the market, we do a base coat, we use high quality paint and we apply 2-3 layers of clear coat. Some of our competitors use compression mold, low quality plastic, no base coat, low quality paint, and one only one clear coat.

Hey Fairings.....this is a big club with LOTS of members interested in this kinda product.....if you are prepared to back ur product.....maybe you might wanna consider offering a genuine AHC "club discount" on the price, to help generate "word of mouth" advertising and garner further sales!?!
If the first few sales to members here sing your praises......you'll be guaranteed future sales for sure!!
So Fairings....are you up for the challenge?!?
Yes, I believe we are up to the challenge. Although negotiating this sort of thing is a bit above my pay grade

If there is a group of you who want to place an order together, we can offer a larger discount. On the other hand if there's an established member of the community that wants to make a purchase and would be willing to provide a review, we could offer a very heavy discount. Not in exchange of a positive review, just in exchange for an honest review. All of this is assuming that there's a decent amount of interest from this forum.
Let me know what you had in mind.

Our fairings come with heatshield technology, and all decals are painted on with 2-3 layers of clear coat on top. So you don't have to worry about fairings melting or fading under normal use. When I say normal use I mean street use, if you're going top speeds on a race track on a regular basis, well, that's not what these fairings are intended for.

Yeh, maybe an existing member would have guided us to this site, but this would have been because "The Member" has bought the product and given his/her point of view regarding it.
I had sent a "link exchange" request to the owner of the forum and it was suggested that I create an account and make a post in the appropriate section, which I believe I did. I also took the time to check out some of the other forums and make a few friendly posts. Unfortunately I can't hang out all day here as I am paid to work, not post... but I hope me making a thread after signing up doesn't come off as invasive to the community. I'm more than willing to contribute on a personal level

Not a great start at building trust within the club.
I apologize for the delayed response. I made the post and then came back later in the day to see the one reply, which I replied to. I didn't realize there were further replies to this thread until I combed my spam folder in my email realizing I had a private message from you.

Maybe I'm just impatient.
Not impatient at all! I'd expect a prompt response if our roles were reversed as well. Please accept my apology :)

Keen to read replys from fairings
Hopefully we can get some reviews up before you go to make your purchase. Is there anything in specific that you'd like to know that hasn't been answered already?
