....when you have 2 x drunk woman driver inflicted fractured upper vertabrae that hurt when you pull the clutch in. Heavy clutch springs---no problem.
Combined with a set of these; http://www.schnitzracingstore.com/catalo...id=5122620&showprevnext=1
....& you'll be throwing that fancy rear set in the garbage or attempting to unsuccessfully sell em.
Maybe for an injured rider it's worth the odd $1000usd to bother with all that.
Can you post up a pic of your pingel pushbutton setup Gruntmax. I'm interested to see just how they look on a Busa.....you do actualy have these installed don't you? or is it just something you've only seen online and thought you'd put up a post saying they make aftermarket rearsets like mine a bit of fancy garbage???
Worth it ? I reckon it is the best thing you could bung on a Busa; apart from stuffin with my back when I stop & start, when u buy a stock busa, pullin the clutch in does not take that much effort. Fit heavy clutch springs to get more of the grunt to the deck or not, one still gets lazy whilst going through the twisties & often ends up going through a tight bend in too higher gear, pity if there's a roo half way across the road when you just come out of the bend in too higher gear than you should have.
Engaging, no problem, just push one of the buttons in for 5 secs after you've started:- engaged.- child button puncher proof when it's idling protection after start n warm up.
I had the ignition coil cut timing untouched from the day it was fitted by Australia's No 1 Busa engineer @ Penrith. Sometimes when downshifting I just rev up a touch to drop 1:- as per instructions.
Follow the link & go on down & watch the Busa video.
And those pegs are adjustable, good when you got size 13 or 6 feet.
Trust me, I was once a Deep Sea Diver n Chief Engineer.
Now, I'm just a fuc*in nutcase.
Please quote correctly "....& you'll be throwing that fancy rear set in the garbage or attempting to unsuccessfully sell em"
Here's ya picture;
This should pay for it;
Cheers
