Engine life?

Bought a gen 1 for a friend with 134,000 always serviced/hardly red lined and the only difference between when it was originally purchased it by the previous owner and the dyno tune done last month"according to the tuner" was a drop of 6 horse power,which is pretty good for a 10 year old bike but not relevant(mates words)as it's getting turbo'd at the end of January with an RCC kit.
