Talking about weak bolts..... WTF do Suzuki make the clutch spring bolts out of? There I was replacing the BTL then when it come to torque up the clutch spring (pressure plate) bolts at the recommended 23 Nm, 2 of them just snapped! So Greeny took me down to a fastners joint and I got 6 high tensile steel bolts and washers, Greeny knew the thread measurement that saved the bloke a lot of trouble so he just gave them to me.... This time I tightened them using the pinky finger torque method of holding the ratchet with the "devil sign" when my pinkie hurts it's tight enough.
All this gets me thinking it might be wise to replace ALL the bolts, washers and nuts with high tensile steel?
