topic on the 1400 forum

this is response from a 1400 owner and forum member and I think it pretty much sums it up


My last bike was a 99 Busa (pre-restriction).
Yes they are different animals, but i ride the same. and the busa was a beast.
I could ride through villages at 30mph in 5th and then roll on and use the massive torque to pull away to silly speeds. whereas i feel the GSX is a bit tame.
3 things to bare in mind, Busa weight is lower than GSX, Busa BHP and torque,both are higher than the GSX.
We all love the GSX1400 for what it is, but lets not get carried away with rose coloured glasses, its not a hypersport bike.
