I FULLY endorse your sentiments. Apparently the informal/protest vote has been bigger than ever, if the media commentators are to be believed. This means that for whatever reason, protest, disenchantment or whatever, these non voters have really done quite a bit of damage effectively saying "to hell with my vote" collectively. This is a time to PULL together, not go AWOL.
Despite all their flaws, voters being disinterested in politicians, is giving them just too much license to do what they want even more. With regards to "sorry" Kevin, even though I like the man, this is a BIG game with RULES. Lock your colleagues out and they will in turn show you the door and lock you out. So just get over it QLD because this is exactly what happens in POLITICS. He is responsible for his own dismissal as much if not more than anyone. His colleagues acted because he was lame, as everyone else already had realized. As far as QLD voters are concerned, it's a BIG BIG state, with lots of empty spaces in between which often has an effect in the part between the ears! Lets say this, it is the ideal State from which to cast the informal vote if you want to enjoy the weather, a swim and a beer instead! Maybe that's why I LIKE IT also!!!
