Old NEWS now.....but let me say that I agree that Sad as it is, KR Darling went Down but I would submit that it was the same way as he got UP! The Media Beat-UP on this guy is something shocking and very much like the flip side of the coin which brought him to power and also as the MOST Popular PM just a month or so ago.
The GAME is on and it's about POWER. Always has been.
Strutting around as Iron Man is about POWER and saying to the public that he's got what it takes and by comparison, the Mandarin speaking PM is a Pussy.
Well Antonius Abbottus got his wish. The Hyenas TURNED on one of their own kind and it also happened to be the Leader that brought them to Power. It happens ALL THE TiME in the Animal Kingdom. No difference here except that as well as Hyenas, we have a pack of Jackals as well (the MEDIA Professional Mouths which also need FEEDING).

Interestingly the main issue currently, is also Pauline Hanson's preferred combat Topic. We apparently NEED to be protected from homeless Boat-people, whom at the present rate, counting the actual numbers which GET IN, would take 20 YEARS to fill the MCG.
Of course, as Iron Man has already said, we need a show of FORCE and that's exactly what we now have in Federal Politics. Everyone has started to FLEX their muscles. I'd probably prefer to bring back Mr Fraser, another Iron Man of Sorts but at least, he is a Humanitarian. A word the Media has yet to discover because there is no mileage in it and you can't eat it.

Interesting response Mr K, I can see you have a highly tuned and natural paranoia that would make an excellent Politician. Then again, you night also just be a "normal" cricket fan like John Howard (the Politician, not the Actor) who would say the same thing.
People who want to blow things up don't arrive by sea, especially after an unknown period at sea and detention destination. They don't just "slip through", jump the queue like a Kanga or whatever.
Perpetrators are usually highly educated/trained and have perfectly good covers, passports, MONEY and support systems already in place and funded by substantial resources.
I believe from people who work in Customs and Immigration that the scrutiny in place is like going through a fine tooth comb in every which way. So you can rest safely tonight even though you might go to the football.
