By default I nod at almost all riders, and wave when it is easy enough to do so. I can and I guess you can all probably tell if someone coming the other way is of the same thinking. As a general rule Hardley/cruiser riders won't, but some do. Those that do I assume are of a biker thinking rather than bikey thinking. Those groups of tossers on Hardleys I just don't believe have the enjoyment of riding first in mind, and I don't believe they deserve the recognition of a nod or wave.

I always thought nodding was a highway thing, but these days I am pleasantly corrected by riders in city and suburban areas.
