But if personalities count for anything, Mrs Squiggle is home & hosed. but policies ? they don't mean anything in todays fickle world. So far the media say she is much much better at not answering policy questions than the Ruddster ever was
Agreed but the feds still have the ability to change/refine the system for the better to assist the states in not making a fist of it.
Gillard/the unions have given Labor a chance to effect some considerable movement on sticking points in thier 'policies'. I agree that Labors spin has been unbareable and that has to at least be seen to improve but I just can't see any progressive new policies from the libs in order to give me any real alternative. The media keeps beating up this American style election bullshit of Gillard v Abbot and that certainly isn't doing Abbot any favours. He's looking very smug (and worried) at the moment.
I was a supporter of Howard and his governmernt from his election up until the last two elections. But like my dad said, give them two terms each. That way they keep on thier toes and don't get to comfortable and cocky. If they are really good, condsider a third.
Big thing for me would be new energy sources (wind/solar). They need to assit in the generation of base load power. That will create many new jobs and a whole new industy. Stop subsidising cheap chinese pannels and make our own.
Well, that's my rant. For what it's worth.

oh, and that's Ms Squiggle to you Mr. Rev
