I looked into this too and came to the conclusion of 'not worth the risk'
One tip I learnt is that if it is clearly marked as a 'parking assistant' ie; to detect how close an object is while parking
then it became a loop hole candidate and somewhat legal to have installed. However you might have to argue that one
with a judge, so again - not worth it.
The best way to do it is to make sure the numbers on your speedo match closely to the numbers on the signs!!!!
