BOGGING DOWN/FLAT SPOT 7000RPM
#1
Trouble with the BUS, an 01-K1
Symptoms:
Below 7000 rpm all is well, roll on, slight or full throttle openings.

Once 7000rpm is on the scale the motor bogs down, wont rev.

There is no backfire through the exhaust or inlet.

The engine is not missing, the inlet is roaring but the revs wont climb.

I tried with the bike in neutral and riding in all the gears,

Same problem,7000Rpm and it wont go,especially on full throttle
openings.

The only way to get it above 7000 is to roll on very gently,
definitely wont rev when the throttle is opened over halfway.

I have done 1000km dosing the fuel with injector cleaner.

I removed the fuel pump and cleaned the filter.

Checked the fuel pressure 42psi.

balanced the throttle bodys.

Reset the tps.

Checked for fault codes,none present!

REplaced the spark plugs.

The coils dont look like there is any tracking on them.

The air box is standard, the air flap is operating correctly.

The engine idles very smoothly.

I have pipes,K&N & a Tri fitted.

It used to go really well.

Has anyone had this happen?

Any ideas please?
