Gen 1 '99 Recalls

My sub frame on the '99 cracked returning from Armidale last year, I reversed the gear rack and gingerly rode the last 250 k's and called into Springwood Suzuki, to my delight and surprise the subframe was replaced for cost of freight and labour totalling 96 bucks... after 10 years and 140000 odd kilometres !!! Who says they dont back their product ?? Well done in my book so THANK YOU SUZUKI.

when i tried to replace mine, i was on the phone to Suzuki Aust. for the best part of 50 minutes, and they weren't very obliging or helpful AT ALL !!!

"SPRINGWOOD" Suzuki seems to be the hero in this situation ....from your experience, they sound like one of the BETTER dealerships to conduct business with....can we move their shop closer to the 'Gong, please?!?

My 2000 is fine but i don't carry pillions, if it ever brakes I'll make a chrome moly one for bugger all .
