Thanks Busgo, Heidi, Grant, Shane, and everyone else who offered hospitality and suggestions along the way. I will have to make note of all the people, places, and roads I was unfortunately not able to experience this time around and structure the next trip to include them. Next time I will be doing it 2 up which will make it even better but where to put the gear????
Yep - back up north now. Arrived back on Monday evening after a rescheduled b-line from Melb to Caloundra up the Newell and 23 hours on the bike over 33 hours. Had to get back quickly. If I had known I wouldn't have seen any interference along the way, some parts of that Newell could have been interesting rather than so long and straight and open.
Did Nymboida in rain and dark (thanks for the guide Grant), Ginger Creek in sunshine, Putty in sunshine, Bombala track in rain (110 k's of tight twisties when cold wet & slippery is an experience), GOR outwards in rain, GOR inwards in sunshine.
So I can't complain!! 5400 k's overall and about 400 k's of twisties in the rain. Next time those ones will be dry!!
Sorry Rod and Tim about the timing of the GOR but I don't think you would have liked the wet outlook at the time. Next time.
I have a few happy snaps that I will post up soon. Yes Missy I heard your voice in my head each time I saw something photoworthy, so I stopped a few times :)

It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it. - Not me..... Aristotle
