1300:
Who the f*** are you? And what is your problem?
You've been the only one on here displaying any sort of bad attitude.
Can you read? I didn't say my bike was safe, but I've done my own risk assessment and have decided not to insure it for theft as that's unlikely and it's cheap to replace myself.
You believe a steering damper alone will stop you tanking your bike do you?
Does the manufacturer put it above rider input as well? There are other bikers on this planet, and they don't all ride like you.
If steering dampers are essential equipment, why aren't they on every bike?
If riding style isn't a factor, why are people discussing different steering damper options on here? Presumably there's a difference in performance from OEM, heavier oil or after market and if you're an extreme rider, you'd need a better steering damper. Logically then, if you potter around as a commuter you just might not need one. Just might, mind! No one on here is telling anyone to strip their damper off and throw it in the bin.
Are you lacking so much attention that you can be offended enough by me, (a faceless internet poster, offering an alternative experience on a steering damper), that you'd repeatedly insult me? If that brings any amount of satisfaction to you, then by all means keep calling me an idiot - sounds like you need it!
And I'm not impressed by your travels to other parts of the world or your incredible buying experiences - you're not unique! You've judged me on a few words and know nothing of the man I am, while giving away just what type ofshitty person you can be. You know nothing of my resources or ability and if you have any idea about the horrors some kids in Australia go through, you wouldn't use my profession as a cheap shot.
Don't worry, I won't be here long. You're the type of c*** I get fed up with quickly on these sites and move on. If you're that offended by me, just ignore my post, eh? I'll be ignoring yours. Twat!
