Again, I'd use Big Kev.
I have had my seat cut down & just had the original covering put back on. Made it more comfortable for riding as well as allowing me more contact with the ground (height challenged hey Heidi
) I did this 2 years ago now, before I knew of Kev.
I may get a custom cover done when I next feel like a change, but Big Kev just made me a softie. Unfortunately the cyclone meant I didn't get my parcel on time, so I couldn't use it on my recent little ride. But it feels soo nice.
I can happily say, even with the seat cut down for comfort, it worked for me. Can't say it would be everyones cup of tea. If you get the chance to sit on one, do it. It's just one of those things.
