As a former admin of the forum, I think that I have an educated opinion on these issues.
There have been serious breaches of racial vilifiction, invasion of privacy and out and out bullying by a select few members over the past few years.
If that behaviour is tolerated in the name of hardening up and laughing it off by other members as normal day to day life, the actions of those people are condoned.
They should not be in any way and there is no justification in the victims having to put up with it or leave.
Right is right and wrong is wrong. Tolerating the wrong is simply bowing to peer pressure to evade the true issues.
Guilt and self esteem usually control normal civilised actions but for a select few, they disrespect the norm in the name of humour.
This is what causes the victims to simply stay away.
