selling the bike
#1
Hi guys,
listed my bike on bikesales yesterday 6am.
bike can be viewed at:

rob's busa

I have had 3 email q's and 3 subsequent offers. All at the same time.
I am worried about the first 2 as their email went like this:

"Good day seller,i will like to purchase this bike, please let me know the lowest
price you are willing to sell it to me...get back to me asap.."

No address but a local postcode and mobile # supplied .

So i replied and got this back:

"I am willing to offer you $12,000 for it,please let me know if you accept my offer, payment
will be through PayPal and the pick up will be arranged"

I'm concerned that both emails said exactly the same thing.

The third emailer offered list price but this was his reply:

"just wanted to make sure all bases are covered
I will purchase at the listed price and payment will be sent using PayPal and i will be
needing your email with PayPal for payment or you could send me an invoice(ill handle the
PayPal surcharge, you just let me know).Make sure you get back to me so that we can arrange
for pick up as i will like for it to be picked as i am out of town at the moment.
I await your reply.
Thanks
Zachary "

Call me sceptical but how can i trust someone who is willing to purchase a bike without even seeing it??

Any thoughts or stories on bike sales scams?

Cheers
Rob
