I noted a 6foot step ladder located in the middle of the high speed lane of the Eastlink motorbike-included toll way last week

How about those barriers you see in the country on some bends, with ultra strong wires instead of a panel? Affectionately known as 'cheese graters'? Imagine how much more damage those barriers would do to your legs?

They put them up around the central coast when I was living there. They were so proud of the nice shiny fences they'd put up and boasted about how much safer they are and how much they'd given back to the community,

And all I could think was HEY......F**K YOU.
