FAN-FREAKIN-TASTIC! What a beast. Apart from the suspension and the brakes, does it pull like a train?

They were quoted as 11.5 sec 1/4 mile, and I remember in the 80's mine was awesome.(even standard)
Today . . .
I'd definitely put it above a new GS500 in straight line go, and a bit more revvy.
But not into GSXR600 territory - mind you, it probably weighs 3 times as much.

& the pipes aren't the best, different mufflers welded on, look the same but are different internals on each side. Some rust and holes appearing. Probably not helping the situation. New pipes are next.

Bruce - unusual for me but I haven't hit redline on it yet. But I do remember that they don't so much HIT, as just go thru and wind off the tacho. - remember those days before computers? (redline 9.5 tacho ends at 11.5 - my old ones always pulled to the end of the tacho no worries - I must be gettin conservative in me old age.)

-And the model, Caitlyn's not happy with the new laws. She wont be 8 till next year. She'll just have to settle with her memories of riding around town on the 'busa. (she prefers it anyway, so she has taste)
