Best thin but warm strong gloves - such a thing?

Wore some cheap thin gloves tonight as it was very hot. Couldn't believe the difference it made compared to my Alpine Sar GP gloves.
So much more feel and enjoyment riding. So I've decided to look for some new ones.

I want something really thin so lots of feel but at the same time strong and a bit warm too?
Is their an all season strong glove like this?
Do they make such a thing?

I liove in Canberra and wore my pair of Shogai the whole of last winter. I do have grip warmers, that don't reach the outside of my hands.

My last pair lasted 4 years before a small hole in the right fore finger let the cold air in a tad too much so I replaced them $75. A very good price.
