Hi all. I am sure that this has probably been discussed plenty of times before, but if someone could help me out, it would be very appreciated.
What does a speedo heeler do ??
I have just changed from a rear 190/50 to a 190/55 and was originally going to change the rear sprocket to a 42T (up from std 40T, and front sprocket std). Due to the higher rear tyre profile, I am thinking about going to a 43T. Understanding that I will lose some top end speed, but I dont spend too much time doing 3 times the national speed limit anyway, and the whole reason is time give me a bit more peppiness down low.
Does a speedo heeler just adjust my dash speedo ?? or anything else. If thats it, I dont really look at the speedo too much anyway (close enough is near enough to good enough), and when the revenue raisers are out, I really cool down. Im not mad, but 5 or 10 kays here or there is not really an issue for me.
Do I need a speedo heeler ???
Thanks for any help that I can get.
