Got a year one ZX14? Wanna make it go faster? Try the caveman approach and rip out your secondary throttle plates or jam them in the open position. While you're at it, use a cold chisel and a brick to set your plug gap.....
But if you own a Busa you can now tweak your secondary throttles in style. With finesse. Using ECU Editor 2.....
I couldn't help myself, I saw that the standard Gen II is pegged at 94% max open. Sure, this opening may provide optimum flow, (given laminar flow, boundary layer separation and subsequent drag inducing turbulence), but hey, let's crank it up a little and see what happens?
I can always put it back to standard.
