Gen 1 to Gen 2 Hayabusa
#7
Graham - if you want a new bike then the gen2 is a good buy, it has similar short commings as the gen 1. Exhaust - braided lines - good pads and rear shock (optional) are the only things that really need to be replaced on the gen2 IMHO.

Is the gen 2 worth spending the money on compared to spending the same amount to improve your gen 1 - then the answer is no.

If you want a new bike fair enough you will be very happy with a gen 2 - is it $10,000.00 better than a gen1?

No.
