Sydney to Armidale is only an easy 1 day ride. I can meet you at the top of the F3 freeway and take you the rest of the way via the best roads if you like.
My mob is 0414 973 840 - call anytime but give me a days notice.
My son lives in Armidale but I think he now has a flatmate. Hotels up there are relatively cheap and comfy. We could go on a bit further to Glen Innes if you like on the day. The Tattersals hotel there is a good biker friendly pub too.
