Considering a busa

Hi guys, new user here.

Basically I wanted to ask the busa fans what they thought about my situation.

I just sold my 2005 CBR1000RR fireblade with all the mods, all of them, for a bargain price I'll add, because I was fed up with the following things:

• Very uncomfortable. I'm a skinny bloke with no arse, and that seat used to remind of that constantly.
  
• The urge to go furiously fast was a constant temptation. Riding around Kinglake, black spur & Reefton spur was fun but I have to admit, I wasn't smiling as much as I should have been. The bike's power and agility precedes my skill so far that I spend every scerric of my concentration on road position and speed, praying I'll make the next corner. I'm not built to be a racer.
  
• It didn't have the same torquey smooth, low-down feel that my 2003 Honda CB1300 had.
  
• Reliability. She was a princess, and the engine was so highly tuned it was just one mechanical failure after the other. A Honda with poor build quality? BELIEVE IT.
  

I was considering a busa for the above reasons. Not quite sure about going straight back to a musclebike (GSX14, CB13) because I might miss the power every once in a while. The new 08's have that 3-level power mode function, and I figured I might be able to cruise on low-power and enjoy the 1340cc torque at low rpm, and rarely knock it up to full power for country b-roads.

What do you guys think? Am I barking up the wrong tree?
