(19-11-2009, 09:14pm)Legend Wrote: If the temp went up that quick I would look in the water pump or thermostat area for a problem, sounds like theres no coolant flow.thanks leonard,fan seems to be kicking in fine i rode i turned it on this morning and gauge was in the red,turned it off again and it returned to the cold position,rode it to and from work today with no problems,the bike has warp speed rad guards on it and by the looks of it not a lot of air gets through them,ill remove them during the hot months and keep a close eye on things.
Check how hot the radiator is, if its only warm them check above. be carefull not to burn yourself.
