Hello again;
I know one thing - in the last 15 or so years, Australia has become a nation of assholes, where everybody thinks of themselves, and will screw others over for the fun of it. I think part of it is immigrants who have come to this country, and have been allowed not to assimilate into our society, so carry on their behaviours here, like shooting, refusing to acknowlege people outside outside of their communities etc.
The other side of the asshole nation is the fact that we screw over our people for fun. John Howard wanted us to be like the good ol US of A and he has succeeded. We sue people for things that we should really suck up and deal with, we would allow a group of thugs to beat up an individual, we drive our cars like they are weapons, not long ago a car put on an indicator to change lanes, and a gap opens, now everybody races to close the gap on the poor soul. Hell we even let people take their license test in their own language.
And to add insult to it all, we give some people off a ship free everything, but let our pensioners, some of whom have fought for this country, languish on a pittance a week. And Australia approves, just as it approves of woman bashers and kiddy fiddlers.
