Hi everybody
We got home ok on Sunday afternoon without getting too wet. It was an awesome turnout with 3200 registered riders, making the Snowy Ride the second biggest ride event after the Ulysses meetings.
It was good to see so many Hayabusa Club members there over the weekend, and it was great to put some faces to some new names. For us, since we have gone so often, it's like a yearly reunion, I was meeting up with old friends from Pheasants Nest onwards.
This year we brought our neighbour along on a slower CBR1100, he loved the weekend and booked for next year straight away. We have booked for 2010 (10th Anniversary) and 2011.
The Snowy ride is on the 6th November 2010. If every rider brought 1 more person you would double the size of the ride. That would be awesome, although I dont think Thredbo would handle the influx.
