Geez Mark, bloody hard call, like everyone has said, they are both bloody good bikes and have bullet proof engines. If u've got the folding stuff, go new. If u look hard enough, u can pick up a Gen1 from around 8grand. Potentially u could buy 2 Gen 1's for the price of one new Gen11. One for commuting and one for scratching. Now that ur totally confused.....best of luck, either way, u can't go wrong!
