new or second hand?

Hey everyone, mark here is a very good freind of mine.

Poor bastard cant make hes mind up

He was originally tossing up between a 1000 an
a busa, but told him to take mine for a spin an
looks like we have another one converted my freinds

I told him buying new is worth it,nothing like having piece of mind
an something new!
But i suppose if you find a mint gen 1 with low kms or a known
well looked after history,you cant go wrong either.
Personally even though i have a gen 1,an do prefer
the looks of it, i like the gen 2 because of the things
i dislike about mine, brakes,headlight,gear indicator.
Sure you can spend money to make the gen 1 better,
but if then gen 2 is better from factory,why not...
