whilst riding and overtaking a few slower bikes @ aprox 180 klm/h suddenly there was no throttle response ie acceleration just died, as bike slowed down a bit maybe barely 2 secs later throttle came back on. Felt like fuel stopped then back on again. Never happened before. What do you reckon the '99 fuel pump finally showing symptoms? needs cleaning? if so is it a big job, can a novice like myself do it or best left to the paid mechanics?
second question, I noticed at speeds of 70 klm/h no more no less only on 70 theres a repetative sound coming like retcha - retcha - retcha not that loud but can make it out thru helmet and wind noise, almost as if you got something stuck on the tyres. I reckon maybe front wheel bearings could I be on the right track? theyre still oem @58k.
Thx for any input, bit of a learning curve too for anyone not yet having come across these complaints.
