Hi Mark,
I'd always been a honda man and had many bikes over the years, test rode the Blackbird, but bought the 'busa 10 years ago because it was . . . different.
After 100,000km doesn't miss a beat, still gets an absolute caining, and still brings a stupid grin to my face everytime I twist the throttle.
Of course, this probably wont happen to you . . . unless you buy a copper one
Really, what Busgo said earlier is the best advice.
Pick up a low km Gen 2 ('08 or '09) if not buying new.
Ten years newer technology for only a couple of grand more.
You certainly wont regret a 'busa.
