I personally think that inviting the friends and associate riding companions of AHC members (potential future AHC members?) to the 10 year Anniversary Rally at Tathra is a good idea for a variety of reasons.....
1- Being made to feel welcome promotes an act of goodwill towards all our fellow (& fellow-ette) riders....
Do we, as a club, wish to be perceived as being a genuinely friendly, open & welcoming group of riders of a truly magnificent and incredible bike.....or just a bunch of die-hard, stuck-up tossers with our heads way up our own arses??? (why not stick our heads up someone else's arse instead?)
2- It will make for a bigger riding group on the Saturday arvo "Loop Ride"....
Most of us surely realise by now that at certain times there is definately "safety in numbers" !!
3- It will make for a better attendance at the official "Party at the Pub" on Saturday night....
The bigger the crowd....the bigger the party !!
4- It may possibly help the club provide some other "extra-curricular" activities....
Lets face it....some "particular" activities simply come down to numbers & cost....and the more people that turn up could be the difference between whether these type of things actually happen....or not.
The only down-side that I can think of is that there possibly may be more "other" bikes there than the "mighty 'busa"....
But hey....it's up to each and every single one of us to do "whatever it takes" to make it to this truly unique event. 10 year anniversaries are incredibly special & don't come round very often (usually only once, me thinks )
So come on guys, lets do this.....& lets do it B-I-G !!!!
