I remember buying a $1 bag of mixed lollies, getting on the bus to the movies (about 1/2 hour ride) and still having enough lollies left to throw at the screen at the movies.
I also remember that things were built to last...not like the disposable society we live in now (where most things are only designed to last 3 years if you're lucky).
