If police had of come you would have got a ticket. The policy is someone HAS to get a ticket, unless you get a good copper having a good day. But because it was a P5 (I assume you rode away, didn't need a tow) & it was a single veh incident with no damage to any property or other vehicles you don't need to report it. Insurance company's now handle it all in those circumstances.
