a national bracket can still happen but for those that have watched this class start up from the beginning will know that it is being trialled at willowbank as a class for there track season not as an andra national class. other special events have adopted the class like benarby all bike meet. wsid has copied the format other than the index. maybe the sport compact can run off a 9.00 index and show wsid a big turnout. qlders would most likely travel for one of these events.
reading a older rapid magazine there was comments on the wsid street/sports bike scene that they struggled to get good numbers for the sport compact fields. the result being 2 fields instead of 3. outlaw and sports bike. 9.5 is not set forever but it will give many the time to get there bikes sorted as 9.0 is no easy target. its early days and things should improve or u can always race the barred bikes on dyo or step up to group 2 with higher fees.
i'd rather race than not at all. more fun that way.
