Ray, I would suggest the biggest hassles are purchasing a proven kit with good quality components, that is mapped well and trusting a "guy" to tune it later on. They will never be like a std bike as far as ride and forget largely ,,,,is concerned.
Keep it simple and low boost for road use and excellent mapping. This doesnt mean WOT dyno runs and talk about big HP..... road use is all about part throttle transition dynamic response. IMHO
