One of the things ive noticed with a good shock and a revalved stocker is the stocker starts out pretty good and actually seems to handle small bumps better, then the oil in the oem shock heats up and by then your in the groove and the bike starts pogoing and bucking and getting all harsh.I noticed this very much so on a stock suspended hayabusa on the putty road.where the aftermarket shock with a remote reservoir maintains a far more consistent dampening performance and doesnt get out of control after a good while of decent riding. If you havent noticed your skipping off the road from the rear dont bother changing your shock.
