Thinking of turning my 99 Busa into a track bike...

I did Oran Park a couple of weeks ago, 3rd track day on the Busa. Had fun, but to be honest I would have enjoyed it more on a more appropriate machine. I think with limited funds your goal won't be easy - BST CF wheels = a good mid-size trackie, just for starters. And you will be spending a bit on rubber too as I am sure you realise - I put on new BT-003s, and I don't think the rear would last more than 2 or 3 track days at most. I'm keen to do more track days but I'm looking at getting a 600 or maybe a GSXR750 trackie. And on the positive side, after punting the Busa around a mid-sized bike feels like you are on a 250.
And anyone here know a guy who rides a black/grey '08 with the plate BUZA? He should stay away from track days, he'll give Busa riders a bad name (or at least he should stick to the slow group).
