Sorry rod, should have been more specific. Up until the pilot roads they where all bridgestones. For me and my style of riding I am getting far superior handling, grip and longevity from the pilot roads as compared to the various bridgestones I have used.

I actualy got the idea of using the bridgestone 014 on the front and the 020 200 on the rear from here. In fact if I remember rightly you pointed out that a 200 profile tyre would suck for the handling. I actualy didn't notice much if any difference from the OEM tyres. Except for realy shit wet weather performance. I can't say I was very confident with them at a track day at darlington park either. Lots of work to make the damn thing turn in at speed.

When I got the Pilot Roads I done a wobbler on the first roundabout I hit because it turned in way faster then I expected. Since then I have had nothing but confidence with the pilot roads. Love 'em. I would like to try the pilot powers but I do far too many miles far to quickly to keep throwing tires at the damn thing.

10K up on the pilot roads, plenty of tread left. Mucho confidence still in the rain (I have ridden in f'in monsoons!) and still much confidence in the dry. For me I couldn't be happier. Shane
