Rode the reefton and black spurs last weekend (saturday of the long weekend). Roads are all open, it's pretty eye opening with how much forrest has been burnt out. The bakery is open at marysville and there are some signs of things starting to be rebuilt.
Some of the roads are a bit patchy with gravel on the roads due to the logging trucks and other big trucks that have been in clearing the burnt trees etc.. So you need to be a bit careful in some area's but in others the roads are just as good as always, so as long as it's dry, lots of fun!
Will keep an eye out for when you plan to ride, hopefully I can come along.
