personally id leave it to the 1000 for a change, think it might be bit overkill twice before but and here no ones mentioned, the first service for purposes of mantaining warranty I reckon best for dealer to do and get his stamp in service book. Id hate to see any warranty issues being denied to customer for not going in to "authorised dealer" for 'important' first service.
