Did 4600km in 3 days a couple of years ago on a R1 - rode to Brissy then to the middle somewhere cant remember what the town was, then back to Sydney - my arse was sore for 3 days after and I was totally knackered. Have driven in a car from Syd to Brissy over night - went to the '88 expo all day then drove back with no sleep that was a big one and I was a lot younger :)
Did attempt a 20hour ride once but my mate fell asleep and drove into a car - he was lucky and only broke his leg, I decided that day it wanst worth trying to do those anymore!
