Wheelbase/gearing..

jzbusa Wrote:I recently replaced my chain & sprockets, std gearing, and was able to loose a link - rear wheel adjustment is right at the minimum or shortest wheelbase and the chain adjustment was ok. Ive got 1 inch raised dog bones & when i swapped back to std dog bones just last week i found the chain way too tight. Cant move the rear wheel any closer as there is no adjustment left so the raised dog bones went back in.

So with a shorter wheelbase & a raised rear ride height it turns pretty good, maybe this is what your after ?

hope this helps jz

What does your chain do if you bottom the suspension, i have heard of guys breaking and bending the output shaft from a pothole with the chain tightening through the suspension range
