Over heating

I recently had the same issue - after i droped the hose of the bottom of the motor i found i only had a very small amount of fluid in the system would have been lucky to be 1 - to 1 1/2 ltr tops .... so totally drained -- flushed -- put in new frogs blood and have not had an issue since -- even got stuck in traffic for 20 min where i would overheat normally -- the temp sat fine the whole time even when the thermo kicked in ...

may not work for you - but sometimes you have to go right back to basics to cure a complicated problem
