Smart TRE - how reliable ?

alright - i think i had previously asked about flashing my ECU but was told i can not as mine is a 2000 model- is this correct ?

if i can does someone have a link showing step by step on making cable and what not required

All the info you need is this forum.

First you need to identify if you have a 16 bit or 32 bit ECU.

If you need help to build a reflasher or want one built send me a PM and I will help you out. I have made a few now and have got it down pat.
