Greetings guys - about 9 months ago i fitted a TRE to my bike - whilst there was no HUGE difference - there was a difference and i have been happy motoring since the install ...... ( 2000 busa)
UNTIL..........
About 2 weeks back - i had a really CRAP day , you know those days when you should have just stayed in bed and poked yourself in the eye with fork as it would have been far more constructive a day than what you just had ......... well i had this day -- to top it off had my x - her mum and sister come to my HOUSE screaming AT ME FOR ABOUT 2 HOURS over child custody issues , police had to be called ( by me )
anyway that day - i take a ride to the local cop shop -- bike is running like CRAP Idols like shit --- trying to stall and very hard to leave from a standing start ---- then when i am riding it would not keep a steady throttle - IE trying to ride at 3000 rpm it was trying to kangaroo hop, hard on the gas it was OK -- to cruise - impossible
get it home - into the garage - lift the tank - take the TRE out - start it up ..... and like magic running smooth as - can cruise again - but with the slugish down low power ( before the TRE install )
so anyone else had this problem ? for the record it was a Checkered flag TRE
